Learning Curve

I just purchased a 2000 National RV Tradewind 7370, my first diesel pusher.
All the systems worked when I inspected it in the sellers driveway connected to shore power.

But upon getting the rig home, I can’t operate the jacks, start the generator, or deploy the awning. And I have no documentation that explains how to configure the electrical system for operation.

I am suspicious that shore power is needed, and that something is wrong with the house battery system. But without shop manuals, or even operational instructions to draw from I am in for a steep learning curve.

Can anyone point me towards maintenance and or operational manuals?

Look by the door for a switch that shuts off power from the house batteries.

Yes, I found that switch. I also found a manual battery switch in the electronic bay, just aft of the battery. I can make the slide function, but all I get is the power light on the jack panel. Perhaps my house batteries have too low of voltage. I will measure them tomorrow. As well as try to get the machine connected to electrical power, if its only 15 or 30 amps.

On our gas 2006 Dolphin you have to have yhe key on at least, preferably the engine running to operate the jacks. It uses both chassis and house power.

Also, tranmission in park and parking brake on. On my 99 Dolphin when I only get lights on the jack control panel means the house power in not on.
