Huge Victron fan, and yes, expensive. Had other stuff, including Renogy, on the DIY Solar side not attached to RV at all. Check out DIY Solar Forums or watch Will Prowse on YouTube for some ideas.

Victron 30A DC/DC is installed and is providing 33A to my LiFePo4's from the alternator. Also, I love the flexibility on setting the voltage of the Chassis battery for when the charger starts and stops charging. All of the features work as you would expect, no weird stuff going on. Pretty happy with this and will certainly be going to Victron for the MPPT charger.
