Location of PCM and TCM ??

On a 2003 Dolphin 6355 or a 8.1L engine, does anyone have any idea where I may have a chance of finding the PCM or TCM ? I'm thinking it may be on top of engine. I had a code of error on my dash, " No J1850 Activity". Checking it out I found out it was involving the PCM. Checking the fuses under the hood I found a blown 20amp fuse on the PCM/TCM-bat location in the fuse box. When I tried to install another fuse it blew too. So now I will be looking for a short in the wiring or checking the modules. Can I do a visual on the wiring and can I test these modules to determine if they are defective? This all happened when I went to go pick up my home from winter storage. What a way to start the season! Thanks for any help.
