Could be many things.....check that the 30 amp ckt breaker on the genny has not tripped. If that's good, then Electrical trouble shooting skills and the skilled use of a DVM are required. Rook

Lost power

As Rook said, could be many things. Do the simple things before you go deep. Is the red led on VR illuminated when genie is running? If no, flash the fields by holding starter button down for at least 20 seconds when starting it. Circuit breakers test, clean grounds and look under the air cover to make sure the ground you can see is tight (just look under it at eye level). If still no power, may try to re-flash by plugging in a electric drill and rotating it backwards while holding down the trigger.
VRs prices vary greatly. Do a good search before you buy one. Take a good close up picture of wires before you take off the old VR. There are numbers on them but very small. There are manuals with trouble shooting guides on the net, do a search and you will find it.
This manual will also instructs not to shut down gennie while it is under load, always some load on but needs to be minimized.
Let us know how it goes.

If after checking the breakers on the genny you still don't have power take it to be fixed. If you are asking the question on a website forum you most likely don't have the skills to go any further. You could end up hurt or worse!
