Maint. On jacks

When the jacks are down, does anyone put some type of Lubrication on them before raising them?
Thanks for your help

Present rig only has air leveling, previous two had HWH systems. To level the rig out beside the house I had to put blocks under the jacks and lift the front wheels off the ground for 6 months at a time. Did that for 13 years and never used any lube or spray on the rams. The rams were still working just fine after all that time.

You should have a manual for your jacks, follow the maintenance directions from the manufacturer for the products and procedure to apply.
If you don't have a manual from the jack manufacturer, check online, or look above for "Files" select files and go down drop menu to, "Levelers, Slide-out".
Good Luck.

I was instructed to use 'Heavy duty silicone' and specifically NOT to use WD40.
This was from a guy who learned that at an HWH seminar.
