Question Missing something

Have a 2001 SeaView that seems to be missing something, and I have no idea what it could be.
This is just above the tank level test lights, and the slide-out controls, next to the bathroom. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks.

Don't know why photo is sideways?? Sorry

Is there a leftover switch somewhere that connects power to the wires?
Could be for a reading light.

Is there voltage on the wires?
Could be for a reading light that has a switch built into it.

I had that same situation in my MH. There was a pair of wires hanging from the ceiling, and a leftover switch by the door.

Photo is sideways because the web software assumes that all photos are in landscape mode, and "fixes" them to be that way. It would be wonderful if there was an option in the User Control Panel that when checked says "don't fix the pictures that I upload".

Next to your tank monitors. I'd would think possible a switch for wet bay heater. might have been an add on.

I think Richard nailed it ! See if you have 12 volt DC between the wires . I guess it could be for a smoke detector ? Do you see either in the area ? You should have both or a combination smoke/ carbon monoxide . Also a LP gas detector should be somewhere near the floor .

Update

Thanks everyone. There is 13v at the wires. An LPG detector down at the floor. I guess it must be a carbon monoxide detector that's missing? I don't see one anywhere.

In my Tradewinds, I installed a gray tank valve controller that uses two wires, positive and negative. That looks like a great location to install such a controller.

Thumbs up Update

Thanks everyone. I bought a CO detector but it is battery powered. I'll just seal off the wires and hang it in same place.
