My First RV - 2005 Tropi Cal T396

Hi,

I just picked up a 2005 Tropi Cal and I have a few questions to get started.

Where can I find a digital copy of the Owners Manual? The unit did not come with one.

I need new tires and the only company that makes the 255 -8- 22.5 is Michelin. They are about $630 each including mounting and balancing. Is there another option or are the XRV's worth the money?

I'm sure I will have a million more questions, but first things first.

Thanks,

Steve

Almost all owners manuals, including mine are generic. What you really need is all the accessory manuals. Water heater, water pump, fridge, furnace, etc. Google if your friend. It's all there or here, and welcome to irv2.

Hi Steve,
I just wanted to say welcome to the group. I wish I could offer you help on the Tropi Cal but I better leave that to the friendly and hepful folks on the forum that know the answer. But I can say, I have to purchase tires as well and 8- 315/80 R 22.5 Michelin's are $8693.77 out the door, or I can go with Hankook for $5617.35 OTD. Hard choice and a lot of money. Good luck on buying new tires and congrats on the new MH!

Steve,

This link has lots of NRV manuals. No 2005 Tropi Cal, but there is a 2004 and a 2006.

Would my 2004 Sea Breeze owners manual help. Like I said before it is generic. Mostly safe crap.

Make a list of what you need to know and start a new thread for each item. You'll have weeks of reading to do. There is no one smarter than all of us together.
