I have a question about Karma. How is it that I have been a member since march 2000 and I have less karma than a friend I sent here in May of 2008? I may not be the biggest poster (BS'r) in the group but this seems odd.

bdpreece...There are 2 types of "karma" ..the type that I just gave you that says "National RV Owner's Forum Member" under your screen name (you ask for that

)and then the type that you earn and you can see the the chart here. It is based on your "BS" level and the amount of real posts you do in total.

Glad to be aboard. Two years ago, we traded a '93 Coachman Santara Class C for a very clean '95 Dolphin 535 with 40K miles. Love the Dolphin, but regretted National RV going south in the RV business. Only problem with Dolphin is external trim which has a few small tears in side trim. But I ordered dolphin decals to place over the tears and the former torn trim is enhanced. So far the Dolphin has be very reliable.

Wife and I are retired. I retired as the exec director of a maximim security facility for juveniles with serious offenders. After retirement, I was consultant for American Correctional Association (ACA) and travelled the US evaluating correctional facilities for accrediation by ACA. Wife is retired coordinator of intensive care program for elderly and accident victims who cannot function outside the facility.

We enjoy travel, camping, and fishing, For past 13 years I have been treated for multiple myeloma, an incurable cancer. In February of 2009, I was diagnosed with colon cancer for which I am undergoing treatment at this time. I am treated at the Winthrop Rockefeller Cancer Institute in Little Rock, AR.

I look forward to interacting with other members of this group.

My wife and I own a 2006 Dolphin Model 5342 with a 2001 Honda CRV dinghy. Love the unit. Sorry National went out of business which I'm sure all the members are. Will add a picture when I can.

We have a 2008 Dolphin DL35C on a F53 chassis powered by Ford's V10 Triton. So far it has had one trip - from the dealer in Tucson and 3500 miles back to BC.
