National RV window screen spline

was wondering if anyone can tell me the exact size spline I need to buy
for my window screen over the dinette table in my seaview?

my screen has torn and I will try and do it myself. should I use nylon
screen or aluminum screen to replace it? I think the old screen was nylon.

I am having a hard time trying to find the spline and not sure what the right
size is? I have found some spline but it appears to be too big?

I believe the national spline is pretty small and skinny, but not sure on what
the exact size is? also where is the best place to purchase it from.

my local rv repair does not carry it and I went to a screen repair and he does
not carry it? was told to try home depot and they don't have it, they only
have big sizes and not for a rv? any help appreciated

mr. seaview-

Our coach's door used the tiny spline I could only find at one place:

Spline for repairing screens, how to buy it and how to use it

"Spline Black EPDM, .098 Dia 3/32 by 25 feet $25.39"

The owner responded well to my questions by e-mail:

adrian@all-about-screen-doors.com

Hint: Maybe a professional can do it, but I absolutely failed at trying to screen the door while it was attached to the coach. I only succeeded once I removed it and placed it flat on a pair of sawhorses. The same may apply to your coach's window screen.

Common RV screen spline

Mr. Seaview,

There is a very small .090" black spline, that is VERY common to LOTS of RV's, available in 25 foot lengths on eBay. It's cheap!
