My wife fell in love with the pacifica's floorplan and all of its windows. This coach (Pc40e) drove better, with a much quieter ride than several new DP's we drove in the $200k price range. We are excited to take delivery of our new (to us) coach! Thanks for the info!
Congrats! I always liked the Pacifica, I'd like to have one but I am staying with my Islander until I stop rving, have fun with it and READ your manuals and know everything about it.

national rv bankruptcy

Retiredblade has posted some good info, & i'll add some additional for those interested.

National filed for chapter 11 on Friday (Nov 30, 2007) the delamination problem most likely had a lot to do with it plus they were $80 million in debt. now remember, in 2006 they were already building 2008 models, so accordingly 2006-2007-2008 models could be affected by Delam problem.
article goes on to say they had 200 Dealer orders for rv's but No cash to build them. they previously sold off the Country Coach brand for cash but the Delamination problem was last blow. 600 employees were laid-off permanently just before the holidays.

they filed a lawsuit againt Crane Composites for defective materials, doesn't say if they won or mostly likely still in courts but money will be used to pay more creditors. Newmar had also received some defective material for Crane.

BTW-- some of the rv's back at National were already units purchased by customers & back for the Delam problem when doors were locked and weren't allowed to get their units back, don't know how that ever turned out.
