Because the inverter IS passing vac when hooked to shore power, odds are the vdc input is good but will check anyway. It's beginning y look like the inverter has failed internally. Suggestions for a replacement?
I have a larger Demensions inverter (12/2000) that failed in October. I called Demensions and described the problem to the tech. He confirmed it was bad and offered to rebuild that one or sell me a new one. I sent it back to be rebuilt. The cost for the rebuild was 1/3 the cost of a new one. Turn around time was about two weeks. I'd suggest you give demensions a call.
