New Owner - Button Question

Just bought a '95 Dolphin diesel & love it so far. Only 1 major question - on the driver's-side console next to the jack controls, there is a red button that lights when depressed. I can't find out what it does. The PO told me it was the power for the jacks, but they have their own switch, so what does it do? Jake Brake, maybe? Thanks for your help.

As long as we are guessing.... could it be the indicator light for jacks down?

Still guessing, how about a switch that is for changing the air horns from electric to air? Map light? Electric visor? BTW, do the jacks work independent of the red mystery switch?

Do you know for sure you have a "Jake Brake", (which is an engine compression brake)??
Many, (most?), coaches have an "exhaust brake", which is quite different, (but accomplishes the same thing).

However your unknown "lighted button" may be for your exhaust brake or your Jake brake... (whichever you have).

It's the heated mirrors.

Ok, guys, thanks for the ideas. After 3 days away - the jacks work independently of the switch, the heated mirrors are on a separate switch, tried to see if it was a Jake or compression brake - nothing! So far all it does is light up. Hadn't thought about a horn switch, I'll have to check that out & report.

Thanks for all your suggestions! An answer to another post led me to the answer - it activates the block heater.
