New owner/member, '98 SeaBreeze

As mentioned, I have a 1998 SeaBreeze on the P30 Workhorse chassis with the 7.4L 454. Love it, runs great, got a good deal on a 25k motor coach.

Has a few issues, one I'm trying to track down is the dash AC controls. Previous owner stated all components were serviced and charged, with a new AC compressor included.

The compressor will not engage in AC or defrost modes.

He said they stated there was a compressor relay that they could not find, and I seem to be having the same issue. I see the chassis fuse panel by the drivers side left foot, but nothing there is large enough (or labelled) as AC controls. Many searches yield some Nationals have a relay panel inside the engine bay under the hood, yet I see nothing that stands out. It really is a mystery to me.

Any ideas?

90% of the dash AC system was supplied by Evans Tempcon. You will need a schematic to trace the problem. I don't have a schematic but someone should be able to supply you one.

1997 Tropical fuses

In my 1997 Tropical I have fuses in the bay to the left of the entry door. Since I have an F53 chassis it may be different than yours but the manufactured years are close.

Check the freon, if the system is low the clutch won't engage, get power, there may also be an inline fuse near the compressor.
