New Radio CD changer delete.

A few weeks ago I swapped out the old radio for a new one, there also was the 10 disc CD changer which when removed left a large empty space in the dash, something was needed to fill the hole. I made a
wood cubby that fit the hole, now I have a place for my wallet and cell phone.Click image for larger version

Nice job, I have been wondering about this since new units don't control juke boxes anymore.

Hi,

I realize this post is pretty old by now, but I've got the same situation now with my '07 Dolphin. How did you get that disc changer out of the dash with pulling the whole dash out?

Karl

Yes it is an old post and I really can't remember how the CD changer comes out.
I usually take a bunch of pictures when I do something like this but in this case nothing about removing the changer. I do have pictures of the dash being apart but not sure if it's for this or not.
I'm thinking that it just pulls out. There is a wood enclosure and a plastic surround to hold the changer which I think may be attached to the wood enclosure. Hope this helps if you haven't figured it out already.
Take Care
