Richard, I appreciate your responses, however, here are a few question, that I'm sure will sound goofy. When I turn on the ignition, I hear several sounds and it seems I need to wait to start it. Sounds like air escaping from somewhere. Also the since the steering wheel when going straight is slightly off center, I assume it needs a front end alignment. Also does the main power stitch located just inside the door need to be on for the genset to work>

The switch inside the door is for the house battery's and yes it needs to be on, the gen set starts off the house battery's. The FORD steering wheel off center is a common and known fact. When you turn on the ignition and don't hit the start position right away you will hear the hydro boost pump for the power brake system, same sound when you step on the brake with engine not running. It is an electric pump for the brakes. The sound of air escaping may be from your in dash heater/air conditioner vacuum controled
