There is a switch somewhere, usually above the dash in the cabinet. Must change it from Antenna to Cable / Auxillary. There is probably what is referred to as a bomb (box of many buttons} that accomplishes the change.

My coach has a "Box of many Buttons" (Matrix switch) many RV's have these, the rest have a wall plate, the plate has a switch, LED, 12 volt outlet and an antenna connection on most RV's

Switch on, light on = OTA antenna up on the roof selected
Switch off, light off = Park cable **IF the rig was not rewired so that cable is used for satellite antenna on a Dish or Direct receiver.

Which is ONE of the reasons I do not recommending re-wiring that way.

Let us know which switch you have and step two will follow shortly.

Interesting, I have both, the lighted 12 volt you describe on my coach is the antenna booster and the "BOMB" does all the selection.

I don't think we have enough info to make an educated guess. These RV systems are different even in the same model. My setup is nothing like it was when it was new. Even I think I'd have a hard time replicating it if I had to.

One of the nits I like to pick is that the wall plate is almost never the booster.. The booster is almost always in the antenna head.

The wall plate is the power supply.

And yes, Some rigs have both, for one reason or another.. First off, As I understand it Winegard stopped making the BOMB (Matri switch) like mine that can power the booster.. And whomever built your rig may have felt the Winegard unit was over priced and it was cheaper the way they did it.

IN my case I added the Sensar Pro ahead of my BOMB, so I now have both.. I love that Sensar Pro, does a great job.

Beats me, power supply / booster pretty simple to me, if it is off the picture is fuzzy, if it's on the picture is great and I get a bunch more channels. Just came back from a stay in NE Indiana was getting all Ft Wayne channels from 60 miles South, and all South Bend from 57 miles West on the same antenna orientation. So I'm happy with what ever the system is comprised of.
