No Power

Own a 2006 Dolphin with a 8.1 Vortex engine, workhorse chassie. Tried to start MH and nothing. No cranking, now dash board lights completely dead. This happen one other time and my husband tried wiggling wires, tapping the starter ect. One hour later turned the key and everything worked. This has now happened again and we are parked with the jack down and I'm wondering if there is any emergency way to raise jacks so we can get it towed. Also has anyone else ever had this happened. We also checked the batteries and they are fully charged.

Thanks

Is there a chassis (motor starting) battery switch in the compartment with the Xantrex charger/inverter? if so it may be faulty. What happens when you cycle (turn on/off) the battery disconnect switch? What lights are lit on the Xantrex? anything flashing?

Latest on our problem. After jiggling several wires the MH started. We now think this has something to do with ground wires. Taking in on Monday for diagnostics. I will update as we find out what the problem was.

Power

Take a close look at the main ground lug where it bolts to the frame. Check for cracks and corrosion on cable. Once had a cable crack and cause similar issue.

Update: the problem was with bolt on battery. Tightened all connections and all was well.
