No Power at Ignition Switch

Hello,
I have a 1999 Tradewinds that i have lost power to the ignition. Was driving fine and parked it in my yard for a couple weeks and then went out to start it and there is no power to the dash. Turn the key and nothing lights up on the dash. Replaces the starting solenoid in the back by the batteries and still no power. Pulled the ignition and checked power there and i am only getting approx 1.5vDC on the starting pole. Also it seem that i have no power to the fuse panel next to the driver seat. I have power everywhere else and the generator starts. Any help would be appreciated.

What chassis and engine do you have? A wiring diagram would be helpful but in the absence of one I would start at the large terminal (battery) on the engine starter solenoid for a broken, loose or corroded connection. If all appears OK trace the wires to your fuse panel(s) and check for voltage where the wire connects. I don't advise piercing a wire with a test lamp to check for voltage. This will cause a problem later on. You need to be absolutely sure the test light is grounded. Probe around to confirm the light is working properly before you condemn any circuit.
You may find a large amperage fuse somewhere in line to the fuse panel. Check for battery voltage on both sides of the fuse.
If you have power to the fuse center check for power to the ignition switch. More than likely you will find the switch down on the top or side of the steering column. Look closely for any signs of melted or corroded wires. These switches can be difficult to access. You may even have to remove the driver's seat to get into the space you need to do your testing.
Please post all the information you can provide about your RV. Someone here may have had the same issue and can head you in the right direction.

Are you up & running?
Generator starts with house batteries. Have you tried starting the engine when pushing the dash "start boost" switch. If you start the problem is probably with the engine batteries. Do you have 12vdc power to the Engine Control Module? No power to ECM and you have zero chance of it starting!

Follow the battery cable from the battery to where it goes. Mine was loose on the other side. It went to a junction block on the side of the radiator mount if I remember.

Check the starter as the solenoid on the starter supplies voltage to the ignition switch and dash also

No Power at Ignition Switch

I jumped thru a bunch of hurdles with the same problem! Checked the battery with a voltmeter and showed 12 volts!Replaced a solenoid with no change! Went back to the battery and it tested it again just because I was at a loss! Battery was dead! Replaced the battery and problem solved! Short in the battery? 🤷
