On the Ford chassis it is under the dash to the right of steering column. Probably tie wrapped and may have cover over the end and it is all black making it harder to find.

2006 Sea Breeze LX owner here.
It should be just to the left of the steering column.
You might have to almost lay on your back and scoot under there to see it, unless you are small or flexible, of which I am neither.

I called the guy who smogs my motorhome and he said the same thing you said. I have not looked yet but I will. I'm retired but my rounds of golf always come first LOL.

ODB2 Port Location
I have an 2002 F53 chassis and mine was electrical taped to the steering column on the right side. I have a driving analysis device plugged into it and man was it hard to find. Hope this helps.

You say it is on a panel in front of the drivers seat and it pops out on the dashboard? Mine is a 2006 National Seabreeze (not a 2005) so I will have to see if "the dash has a panel that pops out". Wish me luck.

It is to the right side of steering column. Very close to column. Very hard to find.
