OBDII Location?

Hello, new here so thanks in advance for any insight. I have a 2007 Surf Side 29A with a 2006 F53 ford chasis. The check engine light is on, and for the life of me I cannot find the OBDII location.

Welcome to iRV2

Ford had so much trouble with coach manufacturers not relocating the OBD II connector to a visible location , they issued this bulletin .

Screws that are holding it to the column are either Philips or 1/4" hex , remove and relocate the connector .

I have an 06 chassis, and the connector is attached to the column, jut above the plastic cover at the base of the dashboard.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to dig into it this weekend.

OBDII location on 2007 Sea Breeze 8341

I was able to find mine as described by Ford attached by a small bolt on the right hand side of the steering column.
To gain access to it, I removed the right side panel of the dashboard containing the radio, A/C and heater controls and an A/C vent at the top of the panel. Easy enough to get to the OBDII connector after pulling out the right side dashboard panel a few inches, enough to get one hand on the OBDII port.
It might be possible to gain access to the OBDII port by removing the small plastic cover on the bottom of the steering column once you know where the OBDII connector is.

I have a 2002 Seabreeze and my connector is about the same location as this one. It is on the column and I found it zip tied to a little bracket that's pressed out on the column for it to attach to. If you're not a contortionist you may not be able to get up under there. You'll have to get an 8 year old to understand what you're looking for and then they can get up under there and get to your connection. I had one of those semi-permanent monitors to plug in and I got my neighbors 10 year old girl to put a plug it in for me.

Revised location for Ford F53 OBDII port

As a follow up to my previous post above, I removed the OBDII port from the original location mounted to the steering column and remounted it using the same mounting screws to the bottom of the removal panel below the steering wheel. So now the OBDII port is easily reachable below the dashboard just below the steering wheel (not too much different than those installed on every other non-motorhome vehicle).
Hope this suggestion may help others looking for the OBDII port on a F53 chassis.

EXACTLY , what the coach builder should have done during dash installation.
