If 303 were to be used as a sunburn preventer, I wonder what SPF rating it would get. Could sunburn ointment be used for paint or other UV protection? One day when I was applying 303 to my tires, my bald head started to burn. I ran my 303 covered hand over my head and it instantly quit burning. It does work.

It might work just as good and be cheaper than that coconut smelling OTC stuff.

When you apply 303, the directions say to do it out of direct sunlight. That's kind of hard to do with a 12 foot tall motorhome! How do you all do that....under a tree, in the evening? New to RVing and this will be the first time I've done this.

Half in the morning, the other half in the evening. Going to do mine that way when it cools off some.

This is a 2003 Dolphin LX 6355 that we bought a year ago. No clue as to past waxing procedures. Passenger side decals are faded. Driver's side decals look good.

We are going to have a mobile RV detailer do a wash and wax. $15 per foot. He did a sample area on the faded side, including some decals, using two products he squirted on a buffer, and it appeared to work OK.

So..........if the RV detailer uses a wax with no distillates and no cleaner........and goes easy with the power buffer.......would it be OK for the decals?

Thanks

Gave the OK for the local detailer to do the job. He did a sample area few days ago on the faded side. Looks good.

He uses two items on his buffer: Zymol Cleaner Wax (label says no solvents) and TR3 Resin Glaze #12A, Automobile cleaner & polish.

I will report back after the job is done.

Job done Friday and Saturday. Used above items. Looks good. Guess it will take awhile for the graphics to show a glaze or white-ish color. Took detailer 15 hours total. Orbital buffer and lots of hand buffing.

Hey Scooter

Just curious but did you take any pre- and post-pictures?
