Old NRV owner wanting to be a new NRV owner.

We owned two Sea Breeze MHs and one Sea Breeze 5th wheel back in the mid 90s. We bought them because at the time, they seemed to be the best built value on the market. We could probably have spent more money, but the NRV product seemed to be VERY HIGH quality both in construction and materials.

So today, we are looking to upgrade our current 5th wheel to either a MH or another 5th wheel to full time in. We are looking for mid to upper level used units that are suitable for full timing.

So for a couple of questions......

When we owned our Sea Breeze MHs, they were at that time the middle level of the NRV Line. The Tropical was the entry level, Sea Breeze was the middle level, and the Dolphin was the top of the line. I know this hierarchy changed over the years, so what was the order in that later years. We are looking for a full timing coach, so which would be acceptable for 4 season habitation from the 05 - 08 era?

It still appears to me that NRV built very high quality coaches up until the end.

The Pacifica was made the last couple of years before they closed the doors. The Tradewinds, Islander and the Tropical were all great MH's. I haven't found a MH I would trade my Tradewinds for. It has a lot of room inside, in fact we had more room in our's then our friends with a 2005 Beaver Montarey did. The wife has her double sliding mirrored door closet in the back and I have my double sliding mirrored door closet in the bath area. Check out the sticky sites at the top of the forum and look at the layouts.

Joe's right. Ours is the 37 ft and we have more storage than most other rigs out there. I have looked and found that we would have to move up to over 40ft rigs like the Country Coach Allure 43 or the Newmar Essex and Mountain Aire 43 to 45 to get as much interior storage as we currently have.
