Question ORB II location on National RV Islander, 2001

Hi, y'all I've owned a 2001 National RV Islander, since 2003. My deceased hubby took care of everything related to it, ie. maintenence, driving and dumping. I can't find the ORB II connector (diagnostic plug) for CA smog testing; the mfr of the chassis, Country Coach, tells me National did their own thing. My smog guy came to test it, and couldn't find it under the dash on drivers side. I even looked in engine compartment & under it. Anyone know where Nrv put it? If so, photos will help me.
Thanks, Widow National Islander

I doubt the 2001 would have the emission required interface. It would be a "opacity test" for that era. For any diagnostics the connector would be in top of the engine compartment. I believe that Islander is a Country Coach Dynamax Chassis with a Cummins engine. Reach out to one of the Country Coach Specialists such as
https://www.premierrvservices.com/service/
or
https://oregonmotorcoachcenter.com/

They should be able to help.

I had already called them and was told it "so under the dash, around the steering wheel, or sometimes they put a carpeted are by the accelerator" i also read that "National put that connector on the pilot side, below the window", but i was reading on a 2003 Islander post.I opened the control shift side by driver and videoed it. I also videoed engine compartment....but dont know how to find the url for my video to attached here.

I’m a national 2002 sea breeze and had the same problem, after many tries with a flashlight I finally found obd just to the right of the steering column tucked away behind wires.hope this helped you.

I have a 2003 national rv on a Ford F53 chassis. The diagnostic plug is just to the right of the steering column facing toward the back of the RV with only about 2 inches between it and the back of the dash. You cannot see the open side of the plug because it,s so close to the back of the dash. It is really hard to find and hard to get the connection made. It is about 4-6 inches up from the bottom of the dash.

Thank you, If you have a photo of it, it'd really help me. I'm nearly 80 yo, with a cervical fusion C3,C4,C5 & C6, making it hard to look around & I'm blind on my right. Seems like everything is on the right.
Thank you, I'll check it there.

plug location

On my 2001 Islander there are two plugs in the back bay on the passenger side. They are located above the fuel filters. I have watched Cummins technicians connect here to read codes.
Hope this helps.
