I have a 97 Chev P32 Dolphin, there are no air bags in the front springs but it dose have a leaf spring that is mounted across the front form side to side. I was wondering if anyone knows what this modification is? I cant seam to find any information on it??

Do you have a P30 or P32 chassis? They are totally different. You will find information for each here: Ads, Documentation, Brochures/Schematics - Forum

This service manual does address the P32 chassis, however I did not find the transverse spring you referenced: http://barthmobile.com/groupee_files...sis-Manual.pdf

I have a 1997 Dolphin, P30 chassis and had these installed:
1963-1999 Chevy / GMC P-30 Motorhome Class A - Firestone "Coil-Rite" Air Bag Helper Springs (NO-DRILL) [FRONT] I ordered these helper air bags from SD Truck Springs

If you will email me at jerryst1968@gmail.com I will send you two manuals I have, one for Dolphin and one for P30 chassis

I think Hellwig offered a transverse front helper spring for the narrow track P series coaches at one point
