Park brake on a Dolphin

hello chubber here newbie I have a 94 dolphin on an Oshkosh frame. Allison world class tran with air brakes and have a minor problem. I replaced the pads on the parking brake. it is a drum type brake on the tail end of the trans. since I installed the new shoes my brake light on ,located on the dash does not work bulb is good I am thinking there must be a sensor somewhere which needs adjustment to sense whether the brake is on or off. the parking brake works fine ,but my levelers kwickee don't work now and I am thinking they are looking for a signal from the park brake any help will be appreciated thanks

If the park brake is applied with a foot pedal, should be a switch on it.

thank you chuck but my dolphin is a dp with air brakes. the park brake is applied by a square yellow knop on the left side panel along with the push button trans control. Allison wc trans powered by a Cummings diesel. the knob releases the air pressure to the park brake. the brake is off when air is applied to them. I am trying to find out what senses whether the brake is on or off and its location. guess I should have mentioned this before but thank you again for trying to help chubber

Sorry, you did say in your first post you had air brakes. Just didn't sink in. You might try joining the Yahoo Groups National RV Forum and posting your question there.
