Wow..now the only problem with mine is that the access hole in the stairwell is only 3"x5" and you can barely see in there and I just can't see how you're gonna spray lube in there. I did make a nice stepcover out of plywood,some blue foam and a piece of carpet that I had around the house and the DW just loved it as it's a nice padded place for her feet. Then we bought one of those brown padded hassocks from CW and she uses that too. That is when the dog isn't sleeping on it.

The carpet is a nice shade of a medium brown and is from one of those rolls at HD and doesn't show the dirt as much as the stock beige stuff already on the floor,SOOOOOooooo,I'm thinking about a nice winter carpeting project. Raise the slide a bit,pull the chairs and some of the dash and baseboards,put it down and put all the stuff back. NAWwww,that tired me out just writing about it.

Thanks rescue, I will try that fix on mine before it gets worse, it comes out and goes back in OK, but has trouble making that last little lift up which makes it level with the floor coach.
