Pinging when applying the brake

Had to take the MH out to the dealer yesterday to get propane and every time I released the brakes there was a ping, kinda like the one that sounds when the jack reservoir is low on fluid, but no visual signal anywhere. When I got home,I checked the fluid level and it was only down about 1/2 cup,so that wasn't the cause. I'm heading out today to fill the diesel tank and will see if it does it again. The MH has been parked for a couple of months as I have a small exhaust manifold leak and can't get it fixed till after income tax time. They say that I can safely drive a few miles, but not to take a trip.

bigdog, can you duplicate the sound by applying the brake with the engine off ? with the key off ?
Possible, brake light switch or brake pedal pivot bushing.

Went up today to check batteries and tried to duplicate the ping,Key off and apply brakes,no. Key on and apply brakes,no. Engine on and apply brakes,no. Engine on and in gear and apply brakes,no. Engine on and in gear with air full up and jacks up,no. Also checked to see if all the panel warning lights are working and they are.

Will take it out on Thursday and check it again.
