Angry Power awning problem

Have a 2006 National Dolphin with Weather Propower awning. Awning will not extend. Thinking that I had lost power to motor used a volt meter and found the power source to be live, had 12+ volts. Which caused motor to remain in retract mode. I have replaced control box, replaced all switches and checked that the motor is good. Still have the same problem after these steps, any idea where to look now.

Power awnings extend and retract by reversing the power polarity to the motor. Seems strange you replaced all the components and the awning won't function properly.

Power awning problem

I had the same issue and found that I had neglected to properly lubricate all of the moving parts of my awning. I first managed to manually pull the awning out enough to lubricate parts of the arms, and then this allowed the awning to fully extend. Then I was able to finish lubricating everything else. Since then, it has been working fine.
