Power disconect switch

When I picked up my motorhome from storage today, I found I do not have any power in the coach. The battery disconnect switch by the door does nothing. My RV tech says the board in the compartment by the right front of the MH is fried. Any know if there is a way to by-pass this switch or where to find a new board. Had a trip planned for this weekend but I guess that is out unless I can find the solenoid that is providing power and by pass it, any suggestions?

Well, sort of help, the 12v diagram I have states "disconnect solenoid (below circuit board) is not shown". I know, not much help, but a start.

If you have joined the National Group on Yahoo, https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/NationalRV/info the diagram is listed in the "Files" area.

FYI here some images of our DC control baord, which I had to replace.
The two images before the pics of the solenoid show where my board was zapped (each of those blocks is a circuit breaker) and the master circuit breaker. If it turns out you need a solenoid (as shown in the last pics) or the one in the black box next to it, let me know I may have a spare.

If you wish to bypass the battery isolation solenoid, shown in the last photo above, unbolt the large wire on one side and join it on the post with the large wire on the other side. This will directly connect the two large conductors of the solenoid. As long as the large circuit breaker labeled in the photo above the solenoid photos is O.K., you should have power in the RV.

I saw that solenoid but it is labeled "Chassis Battery" on one side and "Coach Battery" on the other side. I assumed it was for the Power Assist switch that switches power to the battery to start the motorhome if you Chassis battery is dead. Why is there a circuit board, what does it do? The switch at the entrance could have just as well activated the solenoid directly. It must have a purpose. Searching this forum I found a source for the board, The Gambler in California. He says he has the board but there are two models. I have to send him a picture of the board. It is at La Mesa RV right now. I'll call them and see if they can do it.
Thanks for the help.

I couldn't see the labels, but the size and shape of the solenoid you're looking for is the same, and can be bypassed the way I described.

A little late to the conversation, you can contact RV Custom Products and purchase the board and components direct. There may be revised board. They will also email the diagram and troubleshooting guide for you board. They will need the P/N of you board. There is usually revision number along with the board P/N.

Thanks for the help, I will certainly look into RV Custom Products, this board cost me $350 and had a bad relay and La Mesa charged me $580 to repair and install it, an expensive lesson. I intend to get the model # when I pick up the motorhome and try to fix it incase I need another one. This is the 2nd time this has happened, I will be prepared in case it happens again. This happened last Friday and I was schedule to attend the Good Sam Rally in Eustis on Wednesday, got in a hurry and made costly mistakes.

Thanks again for all the help on this forum.
