Smile Power Gear electric jacks

Hi I’m new to the forum and hoping someone can help me figure out what the problem with the ELECTRIC Jack on our 2006 National Surfside. We had a problem with one of our jacks going up to far on the foot and wouldn’t come down when we did the Manual Override using the 12V battery and ratchet methods. We applied some force downward using a jack to break it free inside and it came down some. The problem now is when we use the 12 volt battery method to bring it down you can hear the motor running but it doesn’t move the foot down. Also the ratchet won’t bring it down either. Is there something inside the leg that could have been damaged when we partially pushed the foot down when we applied pressure with the jack?

Power Gear was bought up by Lippert ( LCI ) corporation a number of years ago , the LCI site still has manuals and parts available for Power Gear systems .
