Power Gear Leveler Hydraulic Fluid Change

Power Gear advises changing hydraulic fluid every 24 months. My system has the vertical square plastic tank with no drain plug. Removing the tank or using a siphon pump is how they recommend removing the old fluid.
My question is, would it be feasible to simply remove the fitting on the furthest jack from the pump and pump the old fluid out? Couldn't the whole system be flushed by doing this at each jack position, adding fresh fluid to pump through each line in the system completely removing all the old fluid?

I'm starting the process of changing mine right now. I plan to siphon it and the refill. Its suggested on refill that one fully extends all jacks to get the fluid spread throughout the system?

Not sure if your system is the same as mine but here is a link describing a complete tank replacement which includes refill instructions.
