Power Gear Leveler Reservoir

I am getting a red light on my control pad indicating levelers are down. Levelers are up. I think my fluid level may be low in the reservoir? Where is the reservoir and how do I check fluid level? What fluid do I use if needed.....Thanks for your help.

Fluid

My MH is a 1999 Tradewinds 7370. My reservior/pump is on the drivers side on the small door behind the rear tire. The reservoir requires a large open end wrench or adjustable wrench to remove the plug at the top. It is difficult to add the ATF fluid from the can so I use a pump I got at WalMart. It screws onto the ATF fluid container and has a flexible plastic hose.

The op needs information for a WORKHORSE chassis. The location is different from Ford and DP Link below for POWERGEAR info.

Topping off the fluid in the reservoir once you find it will probably shut the light off. The real issue here is to find out where the fluid is leaking. If any of the cylinders are leaking they will need to be rebuilt or replaced. If lines or hoses are leaking they will need to be replaced.

Have someone work the levelers and walk around and find the pump motor noise my motor is on the top of my reservoir.

We have a 1999 Tradewinds and bought a couple of these inexpensive bottles. They work great for leveler fluid as well as house battery distilled water refill. Good luck!

As per #7 ours is on front drivers side. I have space to go under fender and stand up to check and fill.
