I have been all over my coach and cannot for the life of me find a blown breaker. I have a 2004 Tropi-Cal and have lost AC power to the refrigerator and also to the washer dryer . Does anyone know of any hidden GFI plugs?

Brian,

I may not be of much help because I own a different brand and it's only a trailer. But the rigs I've owned have had two GFCI circuits, one located in the bathroom and the other in the kitchen area. These two GFCI outlets each feed separate circuits, your refer and washer may be on one of them.

I'll shortcut your post over to the RV Systems & Appliances forum so it'll get more exposure and hopefully some more specific help with your problem.

My southwind has one in the bath and one in the bedroom by the desk. I chased a simular problem until I found the second gfi. Good hunting.

If you have an inverter you might check the circuit breaker for the 120 volt output on it.

That output supplies some of the 120 volt outlets even when on shore power because there is usually a transfer switch in the inverter that connects the shore power to those outlets through that breaker.

Problem solved!!
After opening the breaker box and all junction boxes plus resetting 3 GFI plugs I discovered that one leg of my 50 amp service here is dead. Moved my cord over to the service on the site next door and everything works fine. Went down to the office to report the problem and got the "oh ya I forgot to tell you the 50 amp in sites 11, 12, and 13 does not work. The up side is I found several connections that were not as tight as I would like so now that has been taken care of.

Just one more reason to have a Surge Guard on the incoming power supply. It would have let you know this as soon as it went through its diagnostics. Glad you found the problem and got other things tightened up. Good luck and take care.
