Problem lifting bed. Need bigger lift spring

We have a Seaview 8310. I am just emerging from 14 months of down time from GBS. My wife cannot lift the bed. The bed is likely stock but we added a nova-gel 3in pad (Costco). What gas spring do I need? Any ideas?
Thanks

http://www.hatchlift.com/image/Produ...t-Chart_v4.pdf. If you have the old strut, match the numbers. Do not go much higher in pressure. Tom

Yes, the additional topper will add enough weight to make the bed difficult to lift. When we switched to a Sleep Number bed, I was surprised how easy it lifted.

Just buy the same ones and add them so you have two. Mine is so heavy I actually put one vertical at the end so it helps lift it straight up and then of course it is easier to lift the rest of the way. In other words. The piston is mounted solidly against the frame and the rod is not mechanically connected to the end of the bed. It just presses up.
