Question for other 7370 owners

My 01 7370 does not have an air bag dump control in the arm rest console. There was something there that had 2 small holes for screws and some foam mounting tape that covered about a 1 1/2"x1 1/2" square (what ever was there is missing now). Off to the side closer to the wall is a 3/8" hole. My owner's manual has a picture of a different console than I have in my coach. It's similar but some things are different. It shows an air bag dump control. Can anyone tell me what yours has? I will probably need to go to Freightliner and get the parts but don't know what goes there.

I have an 01 as well, and the place you are describing is exactly where the dump switch should be.

Well, here's some news. I called Freightliner of Las Vegas today. I talked with their RV service tech. I explained that I did not have the air bag dump control and it had been removed at some point. He said "It's a good thing that you don't have one. Dumping air bags is the worst thing you can do. Air bags were never meant to be cycled, inflating and dumping. That is what leads to air bag failures more than anything else." !!! I guess I'll leave mine alone.

I wonder why the leveling system says to dump the air before leveling. I would have to agree that has some merritt but the air bags will leak down over a period of time. some faster than others My buses would leak down in a short period.

I checked with Freightliner in Gaffney today. They say my coach has an autodump system that dumps when the jacks come down. He said the rep at Vegas was wrong.
