Rear view monitor cable placement

I am installing new rear cameras (3) and a 7 inch monitor from RV Cams in our 1998 7370 tradewinds. The current monitor hangs from the upper television cabinet. I want the place the monitor on top of the dash where it will not obstruct anything and be directly below my driving "line of sight". My question is whether the original cable runs through the roof or underneath the coach. This will determine if I also need to purchase an extension cable.

I had to have mine replaced on my 7390 after they replaced my roof with a PVC one and pinched the cable. They tied into the cable and ran it down the back, underneath to the center compartments and then up to under the dash. I think that I bought the 70 foot cable online from the back- up camera guy in the Fl.(?) somewhere.
