refridgerator leak

My fridge leaks evertime I hook up to city water at an RV park. It appears to stop after a period time. Any suggestions?

Do you have an ice maker in freezer? Where is it leaking?

Use a good water pressure regulator such as the X65-BG.

it appears to be leaking somewhere in the outside compartment. When I remove the outside cover I see water where water has dripped from somewhere above. I am starting to think that it could be a pressure issuue because when I have low pressere in my sinks it does ot appear to leak.

You must have an ice maker and I'll bet the plastic tubing has fractures. I've replaced mine a couple of times in 7 years. The heat in the back of the fridge is hard on the tubing. You can buy it and the brass farrels at any hardware store. You'll need 1/4 dia.

two possible areas to explore: (1) the water line from the water source to the ice maker may have a split or hole or the control unit may be damaged causing water to leak out of that system, (2) the drain line from the refrigerator to the outside should go to the lower vent door. c/heck that it is not draining into the refrigerator compartment.

+1 on the ice maker line. There's a plastic solenoid for the water supply. The housing can leak. Check the connections at the solenoid. The solenoid opens intermittently to supply the ice maker with water.

If your water leak is intermittent, then I would suspect the line from the solenoid to the ice maker.
