One of the accessories installed on my 97 Tropical is the remote spotlamp on the roof. There was no remote with the RV when I purchased it and I can't find any markings on the lamp to identify what make it is. I did post about this in another section and so far it seems that it may be a GoLight. Does anyone here have a 97 or so National who can identify what brand of spotlamp was used?

Well it's only getting worse:-( The spotlamp is now turning itself on and turning around at night while it is parked. Is it possible that there is someone in my neighbourhood with a tv remote that runs on the same frequency? I am now needing to recharge the house batteries because of the drain the phantom spotlamp is putting on them. Is tere anyone in this forum with a 97'ish National that can tell me what brand of spotlamp they used and type of wireless remote I need?

Doesn't have a motion detector on it somewhere, does it? Maybe it's looking for trespassers. While you're trying to figure out what to do with this thing, why don't you pull it's fuse or disconnect it.
