Renovations on our Sea View

Hi All, We have had our 2000 National Sea View 8310 for a little over two years and are working on some upgrades. Starting this thread so other can see what is going on because reading other threads gave me the inspiration to take it on. I did most of the Demo work but we had a great flooring guy (Jeff, the owner of Bear Floors in Sandpoint Idaho) do the installation. When I get the seats back and the rest of the fixtures installed I will post some final pictures.

Holy Cow!! That is just beautiful!! You have done what I REALLY want in my coach. It is just SO much easier to keep clean, than carpet is. Especially when you have dogs.

Can't wait to see what other 'improvements' you make!

That's really outstanding! It looks like you have a very similar floor plan to our 2005 Sea Breeze. From what I can see in the photos, it looks like the only real difference might be in the bedroom configuration where your's appears to be fixed, and ours is on the opposite wall and on a slide out.

It looks like you removed the entire dining booth to do the floor ... I'm trying to get a better idea of what is under the dining booth area, and how you managed to get a clean install and operating slide. I can see by peeking under ours that there are at least 2 rollers.

Our floorplan is carpeting in the living room and laminate "tile" in the kitchen and bath. The wood floor throughout really appears to open up the space. I really love it and now have some more inspiration to do ours. It would be great, and so much easier to clean with our 2 Labs.

I did take the booth off that part of the slide, The old blue carpet was under it and I just cut back as fas as I could and pulled the carpet out with needle nose. The booth over hangs the slide floor by 10" so you really only need to worry about the floor under the table and I used a trim piece to cover it up. The floor is a rough cut vinyl flooring that looks like wood, we pulled the backing off the allure and then glued the floor down so it does not float. Worked really well

I don't think they are rollers, mine has 4 white plastic shims that seem to hold the slide above the main floor

Wow that looks great. We have a 98 Seaview that we have been working on this winter. I just recovered the bench seats in the booth and replace all the old blue material around the windows. We replaced the ugly sofa with 2 armless recliners. We also took off the material that was covering the slide surround and had a carpenter make us new wood to put around it. I would really like to get rid of the carpet but the floors are going to have to wait til next year.
