Why not use the wires in place? You could use the ends off the new wires that fit your new camera and monitor, solder them to the old wires, and be done. I did exactly that when replacing my camera and monitor.

This sounds like a clever idea. Mine still works, so I have done no research on this, but my first thought was, "do they make WIRELESS cameras"? Rook

Yes, they have wireless systems, but they still need power to camera. Grey Ghost I
