Replacement door handle/latch

Does anyone know what I can replace my SeaBreeze 2000 door handle/latch with?

Check out this earlier thread, and when you get to post #6 you'll also see a link to another thread where someone modified a current lock to make it work:

So did we figure out that if you're not going to use the deadbolt on the new handset that this would be a fairly easy replacement?

In case it helps, and in case your latch is a TriMark latch like on my Marlin, TriMark can still get you the original stuff:

It sounds like it, except for having to drill out the holes because the pins on the new latch are not removable. I haven't replaced mine yet.

Also, you can usually find the original Bargman L300 on Ebay, but the NOS ones often go for $300 or more.

Unfortunately…

I can’t tell what the brand is that’s installed because the sticker was pulled off of it when I got it. What I can tell you is that the interior plate is almost square…5.5 inches left to right and 5.25 inches up and down. Does that help identify it?

Can you post a photo? I'm sure someone here will be able to identify it.

Sure I’ll do that as soon as it’s light out. Can someone remind me what are the acceptable places to use photo links from? I know last time I posted them on Google but that didn’t work. Thank you for trying to help

When you're typing a new message you'll see a little paperclip icon at the top of the page. Clicking that will allow you to upload photos from your computer.
