Replacing old venetion blinds

i want to replace my old venetion blinds with maybe some nice new honeycomb shades? hopefully the new shades will look nicer and also help
to keep the coach warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer?

was wondering if anyone has replaced their blinds and what kind of shades
do recommend and where is the best place to purchase them? thanks

We replaced all of the blinds, Dinette window, Bedroom side and Coach rear window and small window in kitchen in the Minnie with 3/8" Double Cell Blinds. Used inside mounts and the blinds are the kind that have no strings. Pull and push them and they stay where you want them. Great looks and good insulation value. We purchased them from Lowes and they are made by Allen & Roth from Vista Products. About $500 for the conversion. We were even able to match the upholstery colors because of the many colors available from the manufacturer.

Wouldn't it be easier to go to 2 layers of rolling shades that are installed in the typical motorhome today? In terms of cost effectiveness, you can go to Home Depot or Lowe's and have them made.

If the product you're asking about has the "tight strings" on both sides of the shade, we had nothing but problems with ours in the past.

We have Day/Night blinds in the Dolphin. As the years have taken a toll on a few of them I have been using www.stevesblindsandwallpaper.com as a source to replace the old ones. Prices are very fair and the quality we've been getting is far better then what we got when the coach was new.
