Reset Norcold 4dr frig ???

I have a National Dolphin 2006. 5355 with a 4dr Norcold Frig. Once before it went to a no no reading and wouldn’t cool. A friend who repairs Rv came over in a few minutes jumped a couple leads and started working fine this went on for some time now it’s doing it again. I am no longer in contact with this individual so does any one know how to reset this thing again. Any help would be appreciated. I will add he said years ago there was a recall on this model where they installed a new circuit board where if the propane heater goes out a few times in a row it locks out everything electric and propane. This is what occurs. He said there two terminals that you cross and it wipes only that trouble code off and allows it to run. I have found on you tube how to wipe all trouble codes but it cautions that if you have a different problem the service man later will not be able to obtain it. He states this is common fix.

Actual model would be helpful

Norcold 'recall' added a high temp limit switch that would shutdown ALL DC to fridge so nothing works

Small Black Box with LED mounted on back of fridge with access via lower cover/vent

Propane not lighting off would cause a "no FL' error---simple reset is turn fridge off then back on

'No Co' error....circuit board has to have a 'hard reset' done.
Shorting out using a jumper.
Couple different methods so model is needed

Try running a strong magnet slowly over the box with the circuit board and status light. This will reset the switch.

I had a flashing LED on the small balck box Old Biscuit referred to. And holding a strong magnet over the precise spot fixed it. I found the fix online, but finding the right spot on the black box was troublesome. When I did, it let out an audible click, and I marked the spot with a silver Sharpie. And I attached the magnet to the rear of the fridge for next time.

Do you have this same flashing red LED on OB's small black box?

So once again I ask.......

WHAT Model number is this fridge
Some have factory high temp controls and do not have the recall box

Model number is very helpful when trying to troubleshoot.
No model number and it is truely a guessing game

The model number is 1200 LRIM. Thank You. No co is what is flashing. I believe the hard reset is what they did last time.

I've had that code a couple times. It would occur when I turned on the refrigerator during 110 degree weather. The Norcold keeps track of how long it takes to drop in temperature and if a certain time limit is exceeded it will set that code.

You can power off the Norcold and it will reset and try again. If it fails again the second time you have to go to the control board and do some jumpering.

Getting to the board requires removing some screws that hold a cover in place and it's a pain.

I made my own cover to replace the factory one in case I had to reset it again.

I also have a printout of how to do the reset taped to my cover.

I got the instructions on-line somewhere and don't have the link on this computer.

Now when I turn on the refrigerator I initially set it to the warmest setting with nothing inside the refrigerator. After 24 hours I set it to the temperature I want and then add prechilled stuff in it.

Two different circuit board used for 1200's

Check the Serial Number on your 1200
If S/N is 832171 - 8981138 then use the early reset procedure (grounding the #15 pin)
If S/N is Above 8981138 then use the newer reset procedure (Grounding #2 pin at P2 connection)
