Sea View water heater

Hot water always worked great until now. Looking for ideas as we can hear it kicking on, but only warm water coming through faucet.

Make sure your outside shower valves are shut off. Not just the button on the handle

Check the inside shower as well , and if you've just summerized the unit for use , the by-pass valves behind the tank , all have to be in the correct position.

EDIT: If the valves mentioned aren't your problem , please add the W/H brand and model to your post for better info .

Thanks so much for your help. Mysteriously, boiling hot water is coming again after 2 days of camping. I think it’s time to flush everything with vinegar to descale the system. It’s a 1999 Sea View and has been filled in hard water places, like Alaska.

Could vinegar be a bad thing for any reason?

No sir, I've used ,a white vinegar solution to get the taste of RV anti-freeze out of the RV plumbing .
