Service Compartment Latches

Hey all,

I have a 1997 Dolphin with the “T” handle style pop out compartment latches. Is there a way to service these so they pop out easier? Now they like to get stuck in the closed position and you have to hit them several times to open.

Thanks!

some silicone or graphite lube should do the trick. Might want to clean them first with some brake cleaner.

I have to use my knee to push the bottom of the door inward....and at same time pull on the handles. Try this in addition to the above.
