Shocks

Well its time to change the shocks on the MH. I am seeking input from other users as to what is the best shock to replace to OEM's with. I know Koni and Bilstiens are good shocks, just want to make sure I am not missing any other options that I may have. Cost is not a factor, I know they are a little pricey. I will however be putting them on myself. So any information good or bad will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You in Advance

I installed Bilstein shocks on my RV. They were the correct ones for my Spartan chassis. If I was doing it again, I think I'd pick Koni adjustable shocks so I could fine tune the shocks. They cost more, but the ability to adjust them is nice.

I replaced with Bitstein and then switched to Koni on the front. I'd go Koni.

Mine has Koni's all around, came that way from Country Coach. I did change 4 of them though, two due to Cummins NW in Portland OR breaking two of them and then the front tow to the new Koni EVO 99 series.

I personally think both Koni and Blistein are over rated and over priced. I've tried both and not impressed with either one. Just MHO.

Shocks

I went with the Konis changing out Bilstiens. Have adjustable reds on front and FSDs on rear. Have driven less than 200 hundred miles. Some fully loaded and some light. Some really bad road and some good. I have reds set on mid level setting I could go softer. FSDs are great on rear. MH is more stable on curves and sharp turns. I still need to fine tune tire pressure after having new Toyos put on. Might add that they are the best out of 3 brands I have run. Perfect balance and seem to handle well. This is my findings early on but subject to change.
This is on a 34 NRV with Spartan chassis.

I just changed out the factory ones with Koni's in the front and Monroe in the rear, just a few weeks ago. The ride is much better, but the factory ones where shot. The Koni's where pricey but now my pots and pans don't rattle to high heaven any more.
