Shower cover

Own a 2006 Dolphin 5320. The shower skylight cover has a see through filament which has torn. Has anyone had this happen and if so, how did you fix it?

Do you mean the skylight over your shower is damaged and needs to be repaired?

Shower skylight

Attached is a pic of the shower cover that I'm talking about. The clear filament is torn. Hopefully someone can help me figure out how to repair.

The dome is double, like a double pane window is. What you're seeing is the seal between the two domes. Probably need to buy a new unit.

I installed one 2 years ago:

A source for the skylight; J. Freeman, Inc. (617) 282-1150
www.jfreeman.com/skylights.html
They have a Curb-Mounted Double Dome (need curb mount not flat flange), model CD16X24. This fits a Curb OD of 17.5" X 25.5" and there is a tolerance of 1/2" it fit my measurement of 18" X 26". The cost is only $57.68 plus shipping.

Someone posted that the National skylight was MFG by www.foxlite.com They make the double pane rectangle skylight that everyone has on their National RV. Part number is CDE1624 the cost is $69.90

When my coach was new the shower skylight had a clear protective film on the bottom side that the factory and/or the dealer had neglected to peal off and discard.
Could that be what you're seeing?

Hi all, this is my first post here. Looking to replace shower cover as well. Which one did you end up ordering, from JFreeman or FoxLite?

I had a problem with mine and purchased a new assembly at Foxlite. It was a snap to install.

Order the 16x24. Total cost with shipping $71.68. Will install today and move on to the next project, resealing our fiberglass roof.
