Showerhead height fix (TropiCal)

I'm ~ six foot tall and the height of the showerhead bugged me (too low). I removed the 45o showerhead pipe and installed a nipple, the cutout valve and a street 45 (one end male, one end female). I sanded and polished the cast finish of the brass street 45. It is a little "warmer" color than the other brass pieces, but all in all, I'm very happy with the outcome. The showerhead is about 3 to 4 inches higher than it was.

I'm only average height at about 5'8'' but most residential shower heads height strike me as being too low. (I think it too much work to duck to get the water to hit the top of your head)
When I plumbed my house about 14 years ago I stuck the elbow up about 75 inches from the floor.
I did the same when installing the plumbing in my RV shower stall last week.

my other shower "issue" is the "Low flow requirements" for new shower heads.
But that is a easy fix with a few drill bits.

I bought a removable shower head with a flex hose. When the handle is in the holder the head is about 4 to 5 inches higher than the old head and i have a flexible head that i can take off and use anywhere in the shower.
