Hi Folks,
I have a clean low mileage 99 Dolphin 37 gas'ser with a single large drivers side living room / kitchen slide out.
When I am driving and I make a right turn ( obviously pulling torque out to the right outside ) the slideout creeps open a few inches up to 6 inches !
On a hard / sharp right turn the slide out opens up to 6 inches , never more than 6 inches thank goodness lol even on the twistiest mountains or on ramp / off ramps, but I fully expect it to jump out one day if I don't get this rectified and soon.
None the less every time I drive it and make a right turn the slide pops out 2 to 6 inches ( NOT a good thing )
This is a manual ( turn the key switch ), electric ( motor moves it in and out ) slide with the 3 position key type switch located next to the entry door and so I cant just flip a dash switch to keep it in while driving .
I 'have' been tempted to unbuckle and jump over to flip the 'in' switch and jump back in the driver seat in the freeway
( just kidding lol )
Other than the slide moving out while turning right it works just fine when parked I can slide all the way out and slide all the way in with no problem.
So is there some locking mechanism or hidden lock that I am missing or is broke or worn out ?
Your input is moocho appreciated.
Steve
