Slide moulding comes loose on 07 Dolphin

My fiancee's 2007 Dolphin has had a problem with the rubber moulding attached to the top lip above the bay doors that seals the bottom of the slide.
I have tried 3M weatherstrip adhesive, spray moulding adhesive... and so far the one that lasts the longest has been JB Plastic epoxy. But even the epoxy will only last approx a month or two before it starts coming off again.
I am not really sure it was OEM rubber moulding ( she got it used at Lazy Days ).
Any suggestions as to what to use to secure it? One friend suggested stainless tek screws and washers but I haven't gone that far yet as to start putting in mechanical fasteners.

I used Gorilla Glue on the daughters car door molding, It held three years,, worth a try.
